David Pilkington

I am an experienced British Sign Language tutor trained at Durham University. I have 9 years experience working on different courses all over London. Being profoundly Deaf, I was raised in a Deaf family and have many years of personal and professional experience with the Deaf Community.

As a Course director / Tutor / Assessor, I'm running this unique company called 'SIGNteach,' I started as a sole trader in July 2006, but now employ freelance tutors and assessors who are themselves Deaf.

I am doing freelance work for 'SIGNteach'. My work includes BSL teaching, monitoring & assessing. This also involves the filming of all candidates during their Levels One and Two Unitised Assessments.
